1- Olive Oil

Olive oil contains many antioxidants and healthy fatty acids that are essential for the skin. Using olive oil can be very beneficial for dry skin.

If you use moisturizing creams, you can apply a very thin layer of olive oil to your skin before using the cream.

About half an hour before taking a shower, apply olive oil to your hands and feet and gently massage. After taking a shower, you can also use regular moisturizers.

Don’t underestimate the mixture of two tablespoons of olive oil, four tablespoons of brown sugar, and a tablespoon of honey! Apply this homemade mixture to dry skin and gently massage in circular motions. After a few minutes, you can take a shower and use regular moisturizers after bathing.

2- Milk Cream

Lactic acid present in milk cream helps a lot in treating dry skin. The soothing nature of cream also helps maintain the softness of the skin. There are two ways to make a homemade milk cream, and the choice is yours:

Mix a few drops of lemon juice, a teaspoon of milk, and two teaspoons of cream together. Apply this mixture to your hands and feet and after a few minutes, you can take a shower. Do this once a day.

Mix some milk cream with 3 to 4 tablespoons of wheat bran to create a suitable paste. Now you can apply this paste on your face for 15 minutes a day and then rinse with lukewarm water.

3- Milk

Milk has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that help you get rid of dry skin and its itching! In addition, the lactic acid in milk exfoliates dead skin cells and therefore moisturizes the skin. Milk also brightens the skin tone.

Soak a highly absorbent cloth in cold milk and place it on your skin for 5 to 7 minutes. Then place a towel soaked in lukewarm water on your face and use it to wipe off the milk. This helps the milk have a greater effect on the skin. Do this once in a while.

Add a few drops of rose (or rosewater) extract to four tablespoons of milk and apply this solution to your entire body. Let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes and then take a cold shower. You can repeat this twice a day.

4- Honey

Honey is one of the best natural moisturizers with antioxidant, antimicrobial, and nourishing properties for the skin. So, it helps you have a radiant and healthy skin. Additionally, honey contains many essential vitamins and minerals that help improve your health.

Before taking a shower, cover your entire body with a mixture of warm water and honey and let it sit on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this every day.

Take equal amounts of honey, beeswax, and olive oil. Melt the beeswax in a small pan; then pour it into the mixture of honey and olive oil and apply this mixture to your skin. Let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes. Then take a shower. You can repeat this every day.

5- Yogurt

Yogurt is a fantastic elixir for dry skin. Due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it relieves dryness and reduces skin itching.

The lactic acid in yogurt also helps you get rid of bacteria that may cause skin itching.

Pour fresh yogurt on your hands and feet and gently massage. After 10 minutes, you can go to the bathroom and take a shower. Doing this every day will quickly improve dry skin.

Mix half a cup of yogurt with three tablespoons of mashed mango. Add a few drops of honey and lemon to it. Apply this mixture to your skin and rinse with cold water after 10 minutes. Use this mixture once a week.

6- Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is also very suitable for dry skin because it contains high amounts of fatty acids that help improve dry skin.
